As a Digital Skills Specialist in Sequoia’s Learning & Development department, Chris drives technical training for new hires and onboarding during M&A integrations. His focus is ensuring new team members have the technology tools and knowledge they need to operate effectively from day one. Through small group interactions, he builds the kind of relationships that help individuals navigate the technical aspects of onboarding with confidence, anticipating challenges and offering support at every step. 

Chris sees his work as directly connected to the client experience. When every team member leverages Sequoia’s technology, the result is a more effective, aligned team. What motivates him is the challenge of change and the opportunity to bring talented individuals into an environment where they can do their best work. His approach is grounded in patience, persistence, and collaboration. 

Chris lives in Parma, Ohio, with his wife and their two daughters. He is the lead singer of yacht rock band Boaterhead and plays saxophone and drums. He is also an active member of his community, supporting the Cleveland Musicians Fundraising Group, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
