What is Synergy?

We’re so glad you asked! We believe that Sequoia’s success is dependent on the way our values are lived within our team culture of trust and collaboration.

Synergy is our yearly, two-day event that brings our entire team together for firm-wide updates, training, and team-building. There’s quite a bit of engagement and hard work…but also plenty of recreation!

Tuesday, October 15, 2024 - Synergy officially begins at 1:30pm

The first day’s focus is internal: engagement, team and culture. We’ll hear from our President & CEO, Tom Haught, engage across teams in our breakout session, and celebrate the winner of the 2024 Hyperion Award. We have something quite special planned for entertainment this year, so we’ve allotted extra time for team recreation; we’ll gather for a strolling dinner and entertainment from 6:00-10:00pm.

Wednesday, October 16, 2024

We’ll kick off with an early breakfast at 7:00am. Wednesday’s agenda is focused on Sequoia’s positioning within the industry and trends that are impacting the RIA landscape. We’ll hear from guest speakers, Brad Losson of Schwab, and Rohit Mahna of Fidelity and tackle some group work during our breakout session and working lunch. We’ll end our time together with closing remarks from 2:00-2:30pm.
