About Zach
As an M&A Integration Project Manager, Zach plays a key role in coordinating the operational transition for firms joining Sequoia. From overseeing workstreams to problem-solving alongside incoming teams, he ensures a smooth and structured integration process. His approach is rooted in organization, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement, always looking for ways to refine and enhance the transition experience.
What Zach enjoys most about M&A is working with new team members and being a dependable resource as they navigate the complexities of integration. He understands that the process can be overwhelming, but he finds fulfillment in helping teams reach those pivotal “Aha” moments when everything starts to click.
During the pre-integration phase, Zach takes time to understand the nuances of an incoming firm’s operations, allowing him to anticipate challenges and prioritize critical items. His philosophy is to maintain perspective, ensuring that while challenges may arise, they are addressed quickly and prevented from recurring. His ultimate goal is to create a seamless transition, where new teams feel supported and confident as they become part of the Sequoia environment.
Zach makes his home in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. He enjoys spending time working on home renovation and DIY projects. He enjoys fitness, hiking in the local metro parks, reading non-fiction, and playing with his dog, Fin.
