Tara partners with leaders across Sequoia to build people strategies that enable the firm to grow with intention. As an HR Business Partner on the Organizational Development team, she focuses on talent development, organizational effectiveness, and large-scale change, drawing on a background in financial services that gives her a grounded understanding of the environment her colleagues work in every day. 

With more than 10 years of HR experience, including supporting a corporate and investment bank through workforce planning, talent management, and complex organizational change, Tara brings both strategic depth and practical instincts to her work. She is known for being approachable and dependable, partnering with colleagues to build solutions rather than just offer guidance. She holds the SHRM-CP designation and earned a Bachelor of Arts in labor studies and employment relations from Penn State University. 

Tara lives in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, with her Golden Retriever, Lyla. She loves traveling, with Ireland standing out as one of her favorite destinations.
