For more than four decades, Robert Klefsaas has helped individuals and families pursue their financial goals while potentially taking on less risk in their portfolios. As a Principal, Senior Strategic Advisor at Sequoia Financial Group, Bob brings a prudent, constructive approach to wealth management, one built on a deep commitment to helping clients make sound decisions with their money. His steady, risk-aware philosophy has guided clients through decades of market cycles and remains the foundation of every relationship he builds.

Bob began his money management career in 1982 at Northwest National Bank and Trust in Minneapolis, followed by a role at State Bond Mortgage and Trust Company. He went on to help build the successful money management firm Webb, Markman and Klefsaas before founding Robert J. Klefsaas Investment Advisors, which was rebranded as All Star Financial in the early 1990s. Bob led All Star Financial as CEO, Senior Wealth Advisor, and Senior Strategist until the firm’s integration into Sequoia Financial Group.

Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
