Michele Salisbury

As a Tax Advisor at Sequoia Tax Services, Michele works closely with the advisory team to integrate tax planning into clients’ broader wealth management strategies. The closer a deadline gets, the more energy she brings to the work in front of her, a trait that has served her well across 20 years in the accounting space. Michele’s career began in the back office of a bank assisting trust officers, where she discovered her passion for helping clients with financial planning. From there, she spent time working on fiduciary tax returns at two of the Big Four accounting firms, as well as a couple of mid-range CPA firms.  

Authenticity and accountability guide every relationship Michele builds. She only makes promises she can keep, and she follows through on what she says. Clients and colleagues alike know they can turn to Michele for a positive outlook in stressful situations. She keeps a smile on her face, knowing that for some people, it might be the only one they see that day. She earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Glenville State College.

Michele shares her life with her Yorkie, Daisy, and calico cat, Waffles, who are best friends and love to cuddle up together on her lap. Outside of the office, she finds enjoyment in gardening, outdoor activities, and volunteering with her church and the Humane Society of Franklin County.
