Kelly brings a diverse background in public accounting, manufacturing, and financial leadership to her role in M&A integrations. As a former Chief Compliance Officer and CFO of a firm acquired by Sequoia, she has firsthand experience navigating the complexities of an acquisition, giving her a deep understanding of both the technical and human aspects of the transition process.

Her focus is on ensuring a smooth regulatory and financial integration by conducting thorough due diligence. She reviews acquisition candidates’ Regulatory ADV filings and staff U4 records, identifying areas that require adjustments early in the process. Additionally, she works to secure the necessary data to update firm-wide insurance coverage, mitigating risks and ensuring proper protection for all parties involved.

Kelly is motivated by the opportunity to create a positive experience for newly acquired teams. Having experienced a challenging acquisition herself, she is committed to making the transition as seamless as possible for incoming team members. Through attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to clear communication, she helps build a strong foundation for long-term success within Sequoia.

Kelly enjoys ballroom dancing, gardening, and jewelry-making in her spare time. She makes her home in Mentor, OH. When she’s not in the office, you can find her at museums, craft shows, and flea markets.
