About Gee
As Head of Sequoia Sentinel Family Office, Gee draws on more than 30 years of senior leadership experience to lead the Sequoia Sentinel team in delivering tailored, personalized guidance to help clients grow, protect, and transfer their wealth with purpose. His commitment to client success is grounded in clarity, integrity, and the belief that thoughtful financial guidance can enrich lives across generations.
Gee’s depth of experience includes 12 years as partner of a multi-family office serving successful families across generations and 13 years at Goldman Sachs, where he held several senior leadership roles within the Private Wealth Management division. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Gee served as Chairman, CEO, and President of Goldman Sachs Trust Companies, which was the corporate trustee for over $17 billion in private client and institutional assets. He also led the Wealth Advisory Services group, a nationwide team providing integrated wealth, tax, and philanthropic planning alongside clients’ advisors. Gee earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and his MBA from James Madison University.
Throughout his career, Gee has maintained a strong focus on stewardship, governance, and long-term impact. He has served as a trustee for the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund and the Kirchman Foundation and previously led the finance committee for the board of the Agnes Irwin School. This experience informs his holistic approach to advising families and supporting their philanthropic and legacy goals.
