Chris brings more than 30 years of experience helping clients make thoughtful financial decisions to build, manage, and preserve their wealth. He works closely with individuals and business owners to develop customized financial strategies aligned with their unique goals, values, and long-term priorities. Chris is known for his commitment to educating clients and guiding them through financial decisions with insight, perspective, and a long-term focus.  

In addition to his work with clients, Chris serves in a leadership role as Advisor Group Lead and oversees the operations for Sequoia’s Florida office. He is passionate about mentoring advisors and fostering a collaborative environment where the team can deliver comprehensive, forward-looking guidance tailored to each client’s evolving needs. 

Chris served as President of Redhead Financial Group, LLC for 17 years before it became part of Sequoia in 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of South Florida and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) designations. 

Originally from the Caribbean island of Trinidad, Chris resides in Tampa, Florida, with his wife of over 30 years. They have two sons, both of whom work in the financial industry. A former competitive tennis player, he now enjoys staying active through golf and pickleball, traveling with family, and supporting local nonprofit organizations.
