Nicole Murphey

As an Advisor Group Lead, Nicole mentors and develops a team of advisors who support client relationships, coaching them through problem resolution, client management, and the implementation of firm initiatives. She also serves as a trusted sounding board for advisors seeking strategic guidance.

Nicole brings more than 20 years in the wealth management industry to her work. Before joining Sequoia, she served as Chief Compliance Officer at BSW Wealth Partners, which became part of Sequoia in 2026. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the value a strong compliance program brings to advisors and their clients, and it continues to inform how she leads. Nicole graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history.

Outside of the office, Nicole loves traveling with her husband and three children, especially to the beach. She also enjoys hosting, skiing, boating, yoga and Pure Barre, cooking with her daughters, and keeping up with her son in all things sports.
