As a member of the Executive Team, Norm leads corporate development and strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, advisor recruiting, and business development. In this role, he works closely with leaders across the firm to support thoughtful expansion while maintaining the consistent, high-quality client experience that defines Sequoia. His approach is grounded in the belief that strong relationships are at the heart of meaningful growth, and he views his work as an opportunity to serve the firm’s mission of enriching lives through the partnerships he helps build. 

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Norm has held a variety of leadership roles that have shaped his perspective on the evolving needs of clients and advisors, which have provided him with broad insight into the many facets of financial planning and investment management. Prior to joining Sequoia, he served as President and CEO of Wealthstone Advisors, which was acquired by our firm in 2021. 

Norm brings a collaborative, strategic perspective to his work, drawing on the depth of his experience to help guide the firm’s growth and development. His focus remains on building strong partnerships, expanding the firm’s capabilities, and ensuring Sequoia is positioned to deliver lasting value to the clients and communities it serves. 

Norm and his wife reside in Nashville, Tennessee, and are the proud parents of five children. Outside of the office, he volunteers alongside his kids with organizations focused on inner-city renewal and youth development. An avid golfer, Norm enjoys walking the course and connecting with friends and new acquaintances along the way.
