David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.  Prior to Sequoia, David was a partner at Chartwell Investment Partners, an $8.5 billion institutional asset manager.  Since 1999, he served the growth equity team at Chartwell in various roles including Senior Equity Research Analyst/Portfolio Manager.  Prior to joining Chartwell, David was a sell side equity research analyst at Daewoo Securities in Seoul, South Korea, where he covered cyclicals and served clients in London, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong.

David is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Philadelphia.
