Sequoia Financial Group, LLC is pleased to welcome Greg Montague, managing director of private client services, to the firm’s expanding Florida team. Based in Sarasota, he will work primarily with physicians to assist with their individual planning goals as well as the financial needs of their physician practice. Montague will also work with individual business owners to develop and oversee their financial and retirement planning, insurance planning and investment strategies.

“What stood out to me most about Sequoia is its commitment to clients as well as the firm’s ability for continued growth,” said Montague. “Being part of Sequoia gives me a variety of resources to offer clients in order to provide an optimal experience.”

With 20-plus years of experience in the financial industry, Montague most recently served as the vice president client advisor of a medical specialty group where he was responsible for servicing high net-worth medical relationships. Montague received extensive training in medical practice administration and commercial lending to help him better understand the needs of physicians and medical practices.

A financial services specialist in the medical arena, Montague’s financial industry experience also includes banking, investment management and trusts. He has also held the position of chief credit officer with a community bank, responsible for managing the loan function of the bank, supervising all aspects of the loan department from origination to closing.

“We’re excited for Greg to join Sequoia. His knowledge of the medical market, along with the experience of our current team, will provide him the tools to be a true value to both the medical and general community,” said Chris Redhead, executive vice president – Florida. “Having true independence and access to our resources allows him to provide solutions and recommendations that are applicable to the professionals in this community.”
