Financial Planners
Sequoia's Financial Planners are responsible for managing Sequoia's comprehensive financial management process, including:

  • Maintenance of client relationships
  • Overview of financial and estate plan development
  • Data gathering and management
  • Plan follow-up, modification and updates
  • Integration of financial planning activities with estate planning activities.

This is an excellent area for individuals who want to build client relationships, develop and manage effective financial plans, and grow into a lead planner role.

Planning Department
Associates in Sequoia's Planning Department are responsible for generating and packaging the client's financial plan. Members of the planning team work with the financial planners to take the data gathered from client meetings to develop the technical plan.

The Planning Department is a great area for individuals who want to develop their technical planning skills. In addition, those in the Planning Department have the option to become actively involved in Sequoia's client relationships.

Service Excellence Group
Associates in the Service Excellence Group are responsible for a variety of administrative duties related to the management of clients’ financial matters, including:

  • Opening new accounts
  • Processing account transfers and related paperwork
  • Processing account payouts, distributions and wire transfers
  • Maintenance of various reports
  • Preparation of materials and paperwork for client meetings
  • Miscellaneous administrative support

This is an ideal area for individuals who have financial administration and software skills who would like the opportunity to get involved with the financial planning process.
